What does a made-to-measure shower tray cost?
A Marlan shower tray is cut to your exact dimensions from 24 mm solid surface, seamless and in one piece. Pricing is straightforward:
- Standard sizes: €684 to €1,018 incl. VAT, depending on the dimensions.
- Made to measure: from €695 incl. VAT, built to your exact size — from 70×70 up to 320×150 cm.
All prices are incl. VAT, plus shipping. There are no hidden tooling or set-up fees: a made-to-measure tray is priced like a standard product, just cut to your dimensions. Because every tray is colour-through solid surface, it's fully repairable and keeps its finish for years — so the price reflects a floor that lasts, not a coated surface that wears.
A quick note on materials, since it affects what you're paying for. Solid surface (mineral composite) is colour-through: the colour runs through the full thickness, so scratches sand out and the tray is fully repairable. Mineral cast looks similar but is a casting finished with a gelcoat surface layer — damage to that top layer is harder to repair. Marlan trays are solid surface throughout.

What determines the price
A few clear factors move the shower tray price up or down. Knowing them helps you read a quote at a glance:
- Size. The single biggest factor. Larger trays use more material; standard sizes sit between €684 and €1,018 incl. VAT, while a made-to-measure size starts from €695.
- Drain type. Choose a point drain (centre, left or right) or a linear channel drain. Every tray includes a colour-matched drain cover (140×140 mm) and a factory-built fall, so water runs away exactly where it should.
- Colour. Seven standard colours are included in the base price. Over 60 NCS custom colours are available if you want an exact match to your bathroom — and you can order up to three free colour samples before deciding.
- Cut-outs and shape. Recesses for walls, pillars or a sloped ceiling can be built in. More complex shaping adds to the price; a simple rectangle is the most economical.
Because the tray is slip-resistant by design — a matte microtexture with a rounded R2 edge — you don't pay extra for an anti-slip treatment. It's part of the surface.

Ordering is simple, and there's no online payment. After you request a quote and confirm your order, you receive an order confirmation and a payment request for a deposit of maximum 50%. For a made-to-measure tray we first send a production drawing for your approval, so the size, drain position and cut-outs are exactly right before we cut a single sheet.
